Who we are
Rapport Campus is provided by Rapport Trading & Contracting W.L.L. ("Rapport"), Building 44, Zone 56, Street 205, Office B8, Doha, Qatar, with an office at St. Mary's Arcade, Near Nalumanikkattu, Thiruvalla–Ettumanoor Bypass, Kottayam, India. Contact: info@rapportme.com, +974 4418 8550.
Schools, companies and transport operators use Rapport Campus to run transport, classes, fees, staff and learning. For the people in their care, the school or company decides what is recorded and why, and Rapport processes that information on its behalf. Rapport decides how its own apps and servers work, and is responsible for the information described here when it runs them.
What we collect
| Information | From whom | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, mobile number, email, language, the organizations you belong to and your role | Everyone with a login (created by the school, company, operator, or a parent for a guardian) | To sign you in and show you only what your role allows |
| Children's name, class or grade, school, bus stop, guardians and the people allowed to collect them | The school (and the parent) | Transport, attendance and safe handover |
| Bus and class attendance: boarding and leaving the bus, register marks, handover at the stop | Crew and teachers | Safety, and so the family sees the day |
| Location of the crew's phone or the bus tracker during a trip, also in the background while the trip is open | Rapport Campus Crew, Teltonika trackers | The live bus position, arrival times at stops and safety alerts. We do not track children's phones. |
| Location of a teacher's phone at the moment they check in | Rapport Campus Teach | To confirm the check-in happened at school (within 300 m) |
| Homework, marks, results, report cards, fees, invoices and receipts | The school | Academics and fees. Results reach families only after the school publishes them. |
| Staff records, documents, leave and payslips | The employer | HR and payroll |
| Learn (Questie): quest and practice answers, scores, time spent, mastery estimates, mistakes and their re-tries, stories read and stories written in Story Studio, "wonder" questions, the word bank, adventures, brain-game and sprint scores, project entries, the interests the child picks from a fixed list, Buddy chats (up to 30 chats of 60 lines each), badges and points | The child, using the Family or Questie app | Learning practice suited to the child's class, and the parent's weekly note and questions. Only with the parent's consent. |
| Textbooks a school uploads (the PDF until the lessons are written, then deleted; Claude's own short notes on each page, never the book's text; chapters, characters and the lesson packs made from them), and the scores of the chapter games and assignments | The school (the books it is licensed to use) and the child | Lessons and games from the class's own books. A school's books are used only for that school; the PDF is visible to its staff only. |
| Photos the child or parent takes (homework, a sum for "Explain this", a project day) | Family and Learn apps | To hand in work or get an explanation. Only when the person chooses to take or pick a photo. |
| PE: attendance, coach ratings, Movement Scan scores, injuries and certificates | Coaches and the school | The Skill DNA profile and safety. Movement Scan only with the parent's consent. |
| Messages from the school, notifications and their delivery | The school and Rapport | Announcements, alerts and reminders |
| Technical records: sign-in times, app version, push-notification token, error logs | Your device | To keep the service running and secure |
We do not use advertising, we do not sell personal information, and the apps contain no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Children
- Children do not have their own logins. A parent signs in, and in Questie (the children's app) a parent gate protects settings, switching child and signing out.
- Each Learn and Movement Scan feature needs the parent's consent in the Family app (or a signed form given to the school). The parent can withdraw it at any time under Consent; the feature stops at once.
- The Buddy gives hints, never answers, and does not talk about anything outside the lesson. Every AI answer a child sees can be reported from the app, and the school can read the Buddy chat.
- Effort boards show points for effort, never marks.
- How Questie talks and what it asks follows the class the school put the child in (KG to Grade 1, Grades 2-3, 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12). We do not ask for or store a child's date of birth.
- Read-aloud uses the phone's own text-to-speech. Nothing is recorded and no microphone is used.
- If a child writes something that suggests they are upset or unsafe, or shares personal details, the Buddy answers kindly, points them to a trusted grown-up, and the school's Learn staff see a private flag. Contact details a child types are removed before anything is sent to the AI.
The AI features
Quests, Buddy hints, practice sets, stories, "Explain this", project plans, the parents' weekly note and PE session plans are written with Claude, a model made by Anthropic. Every request passes Rapport's gate first: the school must have switched the feature on, the family must have consented, and daily limits apply. Claude receives only what the task needs: the child's first name, grade and language, the interests chosen from a fixed list, the lesson topic, the question, what the child typed (with contact details removed), and the photo for "Explain this" or a Buddy chat. For a parent's question it receives that child's learning summary only. It never receives surnames, phone numbers, addresses or the school's records. Answers are checked before they are shown (arithmetic is recomputed; links, phone numbers and email addresses are removed). Anthropic processes these requests under its commercial terms, which do not permit training its models on this data. Teachers approve quests before children see them unless the school chooses otherwise.
Who else handles the information
| Service | What for |
|---|---|
| Rapport's own servers (hosted with Contabo) | The database, files and apps' back end |
| Anthropic | The AI features above |
| WhatsApp delivery (WASender) and email (the school's own mail server or Rapport's) | Messages the school or the system sends you |
| Google Firebase Cloud Messaging / Apple Push Notification service | Phone notifications, when switched on |
| Trackntraces (Rapport's GPS platform) | Positions from trackers fitted to buses |
Within Rapport Campus, information is shared only as each role allows: for example, a transport agency sees the students on its own routes only while its contract is live, and never guardians' phone numbers.
How long we keep it
- Vehicle positions: 90 days. Buddy hints: the last 40 lines per child; Buddy chats: 30 chats of 60 lines; wonder cards: the newest 200.
- School records (attendance, results, fees, staff records) are kept for as long as the school or company needs them, and removed when it asks or when its subscription ends and it asks for deletion.
- Your login: until you or your organization delete it. See Delete your account.
- Backups are kept for 14 days.
Security
Access rules are enforced in the database itself for every role, connections are encrypted, passwords are never stored by the apps, temporary passwords must be changed at first sign-in, and handover codes lock after repeated wrong attempts.
Your choices and rights
You can see and correct your details in the apps, change notification preferences, withdraw consent for Learn or Movement Scan, and delete your account from Settings → Delete my account in any Rapport Campus app. You can ask your school or company, or Rapport, for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion, including under Qatar's Personal Data Privacy Protection Law and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Write to info@rapportme.com; we answer within 30 days.
Changes
We will post any change here and update the date at the top. Significant changes are announced in the apps.
